All About The Event

May 10th, 2013 Update:

Hello models.  There is much excitement here at the 16th Annual Miss Summer Nationals headquarters and we want to share some of the new information about the 2013 parade and pageant with you. 

The latest information is available at the bottom of this page.

First, the New England Summer Nationals will have a new home this year.  We will be having the event at the Thompson International Speedway, located at 205 Thompson Rd, Thompson, CT 06277 from July 4th through 7th.  Of course, the Miss Summer Nationals will be held on Saturday as it is every year.  The date is July 6th.

Second, registration is now open and we would love to have you grace our pageant.  If you meet the simple qualifications outlined below, please register using the link on the left side of this page. 

• You must be female and over 18 years old to enter.
• There is no entry fee or other fees of any kind.
• No experience or talent is required.
• No height restrictions.
• No speaking on stage is required. 

Itinerary:

Signup is Saturday July 6 from 10am till noon in the meeting room of the Comfort Inn 16 Tracy Road Dayville Ct 06241  Models that have not filled out their registration may do so on site. A changing room is available along with water, fruit, and donuts.  We will also briefly be dicussing what we will be doing during the day. 

We will be leaving the comfort Inn at 12;30pm and driving very briefly to Thompson Motor Speedway where, at 1pm, we will be doing a parade in classic cars around the large speedway track and then doing photo shoots with different professional photographers. 

At about 3;30pm we will be heading back to the Comfort Inn for girls to eat and/or shower if they wish
( food will be provided).  The hotel also has a swimming pool if models wish to use it.

At 6:30pm, We will return to the Thompson Motor Speedway.  The pageant begins at 7:pm.

Prizes:

New this year are expanded prizes.  Every model will have nine chances to win a prize!

First place winner will receive a trophy, the 2013 sash and $500.00 in cash!

Second place winner will receive a trophy and $300.00 in cash!

Third place winner will receive a trophy and $100.00 in cash!

Fourth place winner will receive a trophy and $50.00 in cash!

A special random drawing for the remaining contestants will be held after the first four winners are announced!  There will be five more chances to win an envelope containing between $20.00 and $50.00 in cash!

ALL MODELS will receive a DVD of the images shot by the professional staff photographers to be used as she pleases for her portfilio.  A general release will be provided to each girl.

ALL MODELS will have a chance to meet the special guest judges and discuss modeling and her career plans.  Meet Playboy Playmate Ashley Doris, and Maxim Magazine Hometown Hotties winner Dessie Mitcheson.

Judges for Miss Summer Nationals are: Playboy Playmate Ashley Doris, Maxim Magazine Hometown Hotties winner Dessie Mitcheson, Ujena swimwear staff photographer Steve Manente and Tony Rogers from DVD Model Portfolios.

NOTE: outfits; semi formal evening wear and swimwear(no g string).  You must enter the parade at 1pm in order to enter Miss Summer Nationals at 7pm
